Saturday, July 9, there will be two screenings of a documentary about farmers and their efforts to raise healthy produce while struggling against corporations and regulations. Farmageddon is a real eye-opener for anyone who likes to eat! The first showing will be at 2 pm and the second at 6 pm-- yes, after the library is closed. It's free but a five dollar donation is suggested.
I know I don't have to remind you not to come to work on Monday, July 4, but I would caution you all to be careful with your Independence Day treats. You never know who might show up at your cookout.
