From City Hall:
"As brought to your attention in last Wednesday’s staff meeting, there is
a revision to the City’s Drug-Free Workplace Statement. Effectively
immediately, it is mandatory for all City department employees be
tested, post-accident, for drugs and alcohol per the attached policy in
workplace related incidents. It is required, that everyone (no At-work
personnel) receive a copy of the attached policy, sign the
acknowledgement that he/she has received, read, and understands the
policy. Please return all signed acknowledgements to the HR office by
Monday, June 9, 2014. Work-related incidences outside the hours of
operation of the worker’s comp panel of physicians, will need to go to
the Emergency Room at the hospital."
ALL staff who are city employees (not @Work folk) MUST pick up a copy of the new policy and sign the acknowledgment. Brenda has made copies and is distributing them. If you did not get a copy, go to Brenda to get your copy and to sign the paper. We ask that you do this by Friday so Brenda can get them to City Hall by Monday. These acknowledgements MUST be in by Monday!
