On Monday as we do our training, we thought it might be fun to revive a Janice treat: Hobo Soup! Everyone brings a can of something that would be good in soup-- tomatoes, carrots, beans, potatoes, whatever-- and we mix it all up in a big pot. So bring in a can of something for soup and we'll see what happens!
Blackbird Bakery Celebrates!
The Blackbird Bakery has been a supporter of the library ever since we opened. Each week they have supplied some delicious doughnuts for the Nevermore Book Club. Now they are celebrating seven years of business by giving away free ice cream! Stop by on Monday, May 4, after 5 pm for a treat! They'll give away ice cream from 5-9 pm or until supplies run out.
