Imagine Don's surprise when he learned on Monday that he was now doing the calendar and Bookends newsletter-- and it was only two days until the first of the month.  He rose to the occasion and has done a splendid job!  Take a bow, Don!

Avoca Launches Newsletter!

The Avoca Branch Library is going to do their own newsletter!  We're sure they'll share some copies with us so we can help them spread the word about all the wonderful things they do.  

 Christmas Book Suggestions!

We'd like to do a blog post with suggestions for books to read for the season.  We've done a lot of Christmas classics, such as A Christmas Carol, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, etc., so we'd like some newer books that patrons may not have encountered.  Please give your suggestions to Jeanne for inclusion in the blog.  If you'd like to write up a little description, that would be fabulous!  If not, then Jeanne will make something up.
