Victor "Bud" Phillips
Long-time library patron and Bristol historian Bud Phillips passed away early this morning. Bud was truly a Bristol treasure, and he certainly loved the library. He was a member of our Friends group and was always ready to help out with a local history question. He will be very much missed. Arrangements are incomplete, but here is an article from the Bristol Herald Courier:

Library Closing Notifications
There were some glitches this weekend, but the problems should be resolved now. However, if you did NOT get a text from Amy, be sure and leave her your up to date contact information.
READS, Zinio, etc.
Amy will be offering eReading instruction this week in the JCC. On Wednesday, January 11 at 11 am, she'll present an overview of some of these services. On Friday, January 13, Amy will offer one on one assistance from 10 am- 3 pm. Staff members are welcome to attend; LIS staff should make arrangements with Ambrea so she can schedule appropriately.
Tax Forms
We have been notified that at least one box of forms should arrive around January 13, probably 1040EZ forms only. Others should be mailed shortly.
