Mardi Gras
The menu for Mardi Gras is shaping up nicely! We should have lots and lots of food, which means lots and lots of leftovers. In preparation, we will be cleaning out the refrigerator on Tuesday. If you have anything in there which you want to keep, please be sure that your name and a date is on the item. Unclaimed or undated items may be discarded. Thank you for your cooperation!And in semi-related news, the dishwasher is now working again!!
Smoke-Free Campus
As many of you know, our Board is in the process of reviewing and re-writing library policies. One which came up in the February meeting is that BPL is going to be a smoke-free campus. This means no smoking on any part of library property, including all indoor and outdoor public and staff areas. The policy will go into effect as soon as the wording is approved.
