Stormy weather!

Hope everyone came through the storm without a lot of damage! Avoca had some problems, but were still able to open.  Mr. Barry kept everyone informed on our Facebook page.

Welcome to Sarah!  She'll be our Interim Marketing Director now that Kathryn has accepted a new job. If there's something we can do to make your job easier, Sarah, just let us know.

As you may have heard-- or seen on our wonderful electronic signs!-- the library is going to be closed to the public on Sunday, May 8 and Monday, May 9.  Our servers are migrating.  All the other libraries in the system are closing as well. The computers have been set so that no items should be due those days.   There are several meetings for that day and those will take place as scheduled, such as the Bristol Historical Association's regular meeting. If you have any questions, check with your supervisor.

Rebecca has a new addition!  Her name is Fluffer for the moment, but that's subject to change.

Last but not least, you can start your Mother's Day shopping in the library Gift Shop.  Janice has a lovely assortment of items.  There are even a few plants left!
