Thanks, Bidding a sad goodbye, and Save a Plant

It was great to see so many folk at the luncheon with Dorthea Benton Frank! The food was lovely and the company more so. Everybody loves the t-shirts, too!  DBF was as charming as her characters.  It was a pleasure to make her acquaintance.   Thanks to Anita, Kathryn, Beth from  CJ and Company and everyone else involved in making this such an enjoyable event.

In case you haven't heard, Kathryn has a new position at Wellmont.  She's done a wonderful job for us. We'll miss her, but wish her all the best.  Visit often, Kathryn!

Save a Plant!!
If saving the planet is a bit too much to undertake, you can save a plant instead!  Janice H. says she has a green thumb. I didn't disagree, but I did wonder if she might be a bit colorblind. Green?  Um... purple, maybe, about like mine.  Anyway, Janice has these poor defenseless plants in the Gift Shop. For a mere pittance, you can liberate these hostas--er, hostages-- and give them the safe and loving home they deserve.  They'd make a great feel-good  Mother's Day gift!  (PS Don't mention this post to Janice.  Thanks.)

"Big Tom has nothing on us!  We survived Janice!"
