The April/May exhibit in the Virgie Fleenor Gallery features the travel photos of Ann McAllister. She's a former Tennessee High art teacher who has traveled extensively. She has incredible photographs of places around the globe, from Africa to China, Egypt to Bristol. Treat yourself to a viewing! Adriana Trigiani
As most of you know, Adriana Trigiani will be our special guest during National Library Week! If you would like to buy a copy of her latest book, Sarah has some available at a staff discount of $20. Please let her know ASAP if you would like a book. Staff may also get one ticket to attend her presentation on Saturday, April 14, at 1:30. Again, you need to let Sarah know ASAP if you want a ticket: the deadline is this Friday, April 6.
Staff News
We've had some wonderful reports about Wanda! She's recovering well and has been sitting out on her deck a bit. We're looking forward to the day when she can come by for a visit. Remember to wear your pink on Wanda Wednesdays!Becky B. is going to have some surgery on her hand in the near future. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
If you've noticed that our displays haven't looked quite the same lately, it's because Charlotte, our wonderful volunteer, has taken a new job in Pennington Gap, VA. Of course, we're thrilled for her, but we do miss her. She hopes to return to help out when things settle down a bit. Hope to see you soon, Charlotte!
Christine M. has been dropping by to volunteer, as if she doesn't have enough to do with Moira, Ian, Calvin and the feline crew! Thank you Christine!
Joan will be coming in to fill in occasionally when we're short-handed, just as Nancy P. has been.

In case you hadn't heard, time on the public computers has been increased to 90 minutes.We've had some complaints about loitering around the library. If you see a problem, or if a patron reports a problem to you, please notify security immediately.
