Advance August Alerts
To make life a bit easier for some of our patrons, there are several days in August when books will NOT be due even thought the library is open. Astonishingly, these dates coincide with the date for the Mumford and Sons event the second weekend in August and Food City Family Race Night the fourth week in August. If you have a puzzled patron wondering why a book's due date is, say, August 13 instead of August 11, that's the reason.
MS Word Tutor Wanted
A patron is looking for someone to tutor him on MS Word. He can type, but is having some trouble with some formatting. He is willing to pay for tutoring. He is aware of the services at the Literacy Academy but would prefer to work with someone one on one. If you're interested or know someone who would be interested, please see Jeanne in Reference.
Ice Cream Social
