Upcoming Events
Remember, this Thursday, August 14, will be the Health Education program on traumatic brain injury for young athletes who participate in any number of sports, from soccer to football to cheerleading. Dr. Diana Heiman is an expert on the subject, and she will be offering valuable advice for parents and coaches. The program begins at 6:30 pm in the J. Henry Kegley Meeting Room. Please encourage folks to attend.
The BPL Booksale will be the first weekend in September! We should have a great selection of items. Further information will appear as available.
The library will be participating in Rhythm and Roots with tables out on the plaza. Lisa is coordinating that effort and will be in charge of scheduling shifts. She has posted a sign up sheet near the break room. All LIS staff will be expected to work hours as assigned. If you are not scheduled to work but would like to volunteer (you wonderful person, you!) see Lisa as well.
As of now, the tables will be open
Friday, September 19 1-7 pm
Saturday, September 20 9 am-7 pm
Sunday, September 21 10 am - 6 pm
