Adult Learning Lab Schedule Oct. 19-24
Katie will be out of town for the week, so the ALL schedule will be somewhat altered. Doris is trying to arrange coverage for the Open Lab times, and Mt. Rogers will be holding their regular classes. A copy of the week's schedule will be available at Circ and Reference so we won't be giving folks wrong information. Of course, there's nothing we can do about the copies of the monthly schedule that folks have already picked up, but we can let them know about the alterations if asked.
Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon
Okay, everyone who needs an excuse to sit and read awhile: the Readathon is here! Yep, folks will try to read for as many hours as they can on Saturday, October 17. For more information, check out their site:
Why participate? Hey, it's a chance to read! Why not?? Also you can win prizes, but you have to register. Me, I think the best prize is a chance to read. Don't have time to read for hours that day? You can take an hour and be a Cheerleader for those who are reading.
