Meet and Greet
The Bristol Public Library invites the community to a reception welcoming new Executive Director Amy Kimani to the Library. The reception will be held in the J. Henry Kegley Meeting Room from 5 PM until 6 PM on October 15, 2015. The reception will follow the regular monthly meeting of the BPL Board of Trustees which begins at 4 PM.
“We are all very excited to have Amy join our Bristol and our Library family. Her passion for our library and our community is already very evident, and we hope our patrons and community members will drop and say hello,” says Doris Stickley, Director of Marketing for the Library. “Amy has become Executive Director in the midst of many exciting changes and positive growth. Her leadership is going to make those changes and growth central to our community and very much in step with our mission, ‘Expanding Minds Building Community.’"
Staff may attend if they wish. There will be some lovely refreshments! You may have to drag Jeanne away from the mini pumpkin cheesecakes.
