From Jud:
Merry christmas!
I’ve just given the gift of a goat and 2 chickens in honor of the BPL staff to World Vision.
And thank you for the book of match puzzles with “matching” gift! I will be sure to burn up many hours with this activity.

We've had a lot of friends drop in lately! It's been good to see Crowe Baby, Nancy P. and Joan H. Joan brought an absolutely fabulous recipe for fudge. It's easy, it's delicious, and it's really fast!
Joan's Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge
2 containers of vanilla frosting (NOTE: do not use the whipped kind)
8 oz. creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar, and it will make life much easier if you sift it
1 teaspoon vanillla
Put all the ingredients in a microwave friendly bowl, but do not stir. Microwave on high for one minute. Stir the ingredients together until well blended and pour into a buttered or sprayed pan. 9 x 13 pans or glass baking dishes work well, but you can choose the size of pan based on how thick you want the fudge to be. Let cool and set, and slice into pieces.
You may use this recipe to make chocolate/peanut butter fudge by using two containers of fudge or chocolate frosting instead of the vanilla frosting.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
