Last Post for 2011!

It's been another eventful year for Bristol Public Library! We've had many successful programs, and our ongoing programs have grown. The numbers Teen/Tween/Young Adult programs have shot up and we have a good core group for the Nevermore Book Club.  Next year we expect those programs to expand even more.  The new film series will start up again in February, and there will be a full slate of Discovery series programs as well. The Avoca Branch Library is busy with new offerings and services. We've been blessed with some incredible volunteers. The Children's Department continues to provide many wonderful programs for children. Joyce keeps the building and grounds in exceptional condition. Janice's Gift Shop continues to exceed expectations, and the hard working folks in Circulation, Technical Services, and Reference try to keep our patrons happy and well supplied with material and information. This wouldn't be possible without help from our amazing IT guy-- see, I kept your name out of it, Christian!-- along with Brenda who keeps us all paid and supplied and, of course, Jud who keeps us going in the right direction. The library simply couldn't function without each and every one of you. Thanks!

Our deepest sympathies to Joan H., who lost her mother on Christmas Eve.  You can read the obituary and leave a message for the family at Winona Mae "Winnnie" White Henson.

Best wishes to everyone in the New Year!
