Beach Day, Melba, and More

As you may know, Janice H. has a giveaway for an "Instant Beach Vacation Bag" at the Gift Shop.  The drawing will be on July 1.  In order to get everyone in the spirit, we'll have a Beach Day here at the library that day. Wear work suitable beach attire if you wish.

There are Kool-Aid popsicles in the freezer and we have plastic leis for those who wish to be a bit more festive.

Melba

Melba's surgery is today.  I'm sure she will appreciate any prayers.  Marva is going to update Joyce and Joyce will pass the word on. 

Melba Update:  Joyce reports that Melba is out of surgery and doing well.

I want to thank everyone for the support on getting Sissy spayed. Marva is so happy she has a pet of her own!!!. I could see the love that Marva and Melba had for Sissy and the love Sissy had for them. When it comes to helping library staff is the best!!!

I am going to take the kitty for kitty down. I got a total of 180.00 dollars. That is great!! I am making my donation be the rest of the cost of getting Sissy spayed. I will try to bring Sissy by when she get her stiches out Thursday the 2^nd since we are closed Friday 3^rd.
