Meet Sissy Woodby!

This charming little girl is Sissy Woodby, the newest addition to the Peters-Woodby household.  Joyce reports that both Melba and Marva are mad about the girl.  Joyce generously offered to take Sissy for her spay, both picking her up and then returning her.  She will also take Sissy back to have stitches removed and hopes to bring her by for a staff meet and greet.  Joyce has taken this upon herself as a way of offering Melba some help and support.  If anyone would like to defray the costs of the spay and care, there is a container for donations in the staff lounge or you can give money to Joyce.

Adult Learning Lab

The Adult Learning Lab will be holding Job Readiness Training  from 10 am until 2 pm next week (June 29-July 2) for Job Readiness Training. They will be open to the public from 2 pm until 6 pm.

Also, the ALL will be closed the week following, July 6-10.

Tenn-Share is immensely thankful to Bristol Public Library for becoming a hub for the Firefly Courier Service in October 2013.  With your library giving the RR Donnelley subcontractor a space to collect and separate packages to and from East Tennessee, the courier's delivery times improved dramatically.  We are so appreciative, not just of your space, but of the offer that extended to your library and staff.  Thanks to you, your region and the state's libraries had much better service through June 2015.


The new contractor, Expak Logistics, will not need to use the Bristol Public Library space for the new contract beginning in July 2015.  We hope that this new arrangement gives you great service also.  I'm sure you will put the released space to good use.
