In Memoriam
We lost two long time patrons last week. They will be missed. Mrs. Brown's daughter came by to say how much the library meant to her mother: she was a life-long avid reader, but she also appreciated how well the staff treated her. In her later years, she came to us for help using the computer and was always a gracious and charming lady. Her daughter was grateful for all we had meant to her mother.
That's why we're here. This is our mission. We can and do make a difference in people's lives.

Salad Day!
Salad Day!
It's time for another Staff celebration! As all the summer reading clubs come to an end, we thought it would be a good time to celebrate summer and summer food from the Farmer's Market. On Thursday, July 24, we'll have a salad bar! We're asking for folks to contribute a salad ingredient. We'll have a list so that we don't all bring radishes or tomatoes. Or, if you want to bring a salad-- macaroni, potato, etc.-- or another side dish, please feel free.
It's a farmer theme, so you can dress up if you want to. We should have some straw hats and bandannas around, or you can break out the overalls (or overhauls, as some say).
