Avoca Success, Halloween, Reminders, and Another October Birthday!

Congratulations!!

The Friends of the Avoca Branch (or FAB, as I like to think of these fabulous folks) had a very successful book sale last week.  They took in $572.40! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on this.  Branch manager Christy says everyone was awesome!

Brace Yourselves for Halloween!

There will be a number of times to show show off your Halloween spirit next week!  Mrs. Michelle's storytimes next week will be Halloween themed, and the kids will be trick or treating the offices upstairs.  Main's Halloween Party (after school) will be on Tuesday at 4:30 and the Teens will be painting pumpkins on Wednesday. Avoca's Halloween Party will be on Wednesday as well.  Also, Pumpkin Palooza and Trick or Treating on State Street will be on Saturday, October 29.  Finally, there's Monday, October 31 which is supposed to be some sort of holiday....
